Be the Light That Leads

Scripture:

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

— Matthew 5:14

Devotional:

God has entrusted you with the incredible mission of reflecting His light in a world that often walks in darkness. Leading others to God doesn’t always require a sermon; sometimes, it’s your daily life, your peace, your compassion, your faith - that speaks louder than words.

Your actions can illuminate the path to Jesus for someone who is searching. When they see love where there should be anger, forgiveness where there could be resentment, and hope where there is despair, they see Christ in you. Be intentional. Be available. Let your life be a gentle invitation to meet the Savior.

Reflection Questions:

Is my life a visible testimony of God’s love and truth?

How can I share God’s love with someone today in a real and practical way?

Prayer:

In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Lord, thank You for calling me to be a light in the world. Help me to reflect You clearly in my words, my choices, and my relationships. Open my eyes to the needs of those around me, and give me boldness and compassion to lead others to You. Shine through me, that they may see You.

In the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, Amen.
